Quick answer

Who supplies pallets, and who buys them back?

360 supplies new and recycled pallets Australia wide from the yard at Prestons in south-west Sydney: standard 1165 x 1165, Euro 1200 x 800, export, plastic, heavy duty and custom sizes, graded A, B, C and R with the grade and count written on every quote, and from-prices published on the prices page. The same yard buys surplus pallets: sixty or more reusable pallets anywhere in Greater Sydney is a free pickup, and sorted A grade pallets earn $3 each ex GST with B grade at $2. A quote asked for before 2pm is answered the same business day.

The problem

Pallet supply is rarely the problem it looks like.

Most operations do not run short on pallets because pallets are scarce. They run short because three different people manage supply, recovery and demand as three unrelated problems, and none of them sees the whole cycle. Good stock gets scrapped instead of recovered. Orders get placed reactively, at the worst possible price, because nobody was watching the trend.

Meanwhile, damaged, wrong grade and surplus pallets pile up in a corner of the yard, worth something, doing nothing.

The 360 approach

One line of sight across supply and recovery.

360 treats pallet supply and pallet recovery as the same problem, because they are. We source what you need, new or recycled, standard, Euro, export or custom, and we buy back qualifying stock, grade what is worth keeping and clear what is not. One quote, one person, both directions.

  • Standard Australian (1165 x 1165 mm), Euro, export, custom, half pallet, cut down and plastic options
  • New, recycled, best value or unsure: we help you decide
  • Collection arranged and stock graded on pickup: reusable, damaged repairable, broken timber, mixed or unknown
  • Photo led assessment: top, bottom, side and any markings, so we can quote without a wasted site visit
  • Per order, weekly, monthly and annual volume planning

Where we supply

Supplied and delivered in every capital and the regional centres we serve, quoted the same way everywhere.

One quote covers the pallets, the delivery and the empties, whichever city it lands in. 360 manages the order end to end.

Pallets to sell or clear

The empties are worth a look.

We pay $3 a pallet ex GST for A grade and $2 for B grade, any type, when the pile is sorted with nothing broken through it, subject to inspection. Collections of 60 or more reusable pallets in Greater Sydney are free. A pile with broken timber through it is quoted as a clearance, with truck time and disposal shown as their own lines. Sort the good ones into their own stack and we buy that stack instead of charging you. Photograph the pile side on, one photo per stack, and the scan tells you which it is in about a minute.

I have pallets to sell I need pallets collected or cleared

Find out what your pallets are worth in about ten seconds: price your lot. How the buying works: sell your pallets. Mixed or damaged lots: collection and clearance.

Not sure what you have got? Measure it and we will name it, tell you whether it racks here, whether it can go on a ship and what we pay for it.

The stack in the corner is worth money. Most sites never count it, so nobody works out what it is costing them to keep it there.

The guide in 77 seconds

Specify the right pallet before you ask for a price.

The Pallet Specification Guide as a film. What to confirm on size, load, handling, material, condition and export, and the checklist that gets you a comparable quote.

Dimensions on screen are examples. Ratings always come from the supplier datasheet for the exact pallet you buy.

Read the film as text
  1. The right pallet for the job. The guide covers outright purchase pallets. Pooled hire is excluded.
  2. Five details settle the specification: product and maximum load weight, pallet footprint, forklift, pallet jack, conveyor or racking use, new or used condition, and quantity with delivery postcode.
  3. Find your footprint. Same footprint does not mean the same pallet.
  4. A footprint is not a load rating. Static, dynamic and racking loads are separate numbers with their own conditions, and a racking rating is never derived from a static or dynamic one.
  5. The model matters more than the label. Timber, presswood, plastic, plywood, paper and metal each have their own points to confirm. Nesting describes empty storage and does not establish loaded stacking or rack performance.
  6. Agree the grade before you order: new, A premium used, B standard used, C economy or one way, and R repairable core. Turn a grade into an acceptance standard and approve representative photos or a sample.
  7. Specify the whole trip: destination, treatment, the mark, what happens after repairs and container fit.
  8. Everything needed to quote: product and pallet, quantity, load, handling, build and acceptance, export, delivery and quote inclusions. Not sure which pallet you need? Send photos of the top, underside and side with markings, a tape measure, your product weight, quantity and delivery postcode.

Questions buyers ask

Is there a minimum order?

Every order is quoted on its own. Small lots carry a delivery charge that we show up front. Volume and recurring orders get better per pallet pricing.

How fast will I get a price?

Enquiries in before 2pm on a business day are quoted that day. Later ones go out the next business day. If the job is urgent, say so in the enquiry and we tell you what is possible before you commit.

New or recycled, which should I buy?

Recycled Australian standard pallets are the best value for most warehousing and distribution loads. New stock suits clean environments, export with treatment and racking at the top of the rating. Not sure? Ask for both and we quote them side by side.

Can I see the pallets before they arrive?

Yes. The grade is agreed in writing and we send representative photos, or a sample on larger orders, before anything is dispatched. The specification guide explains the five grades.

Do you supply CHEP or Loscam pallets?

No. Pooled hire pallets are outside what we do. We supply pallets you own outright, and we help you work out when owning beats hiring.

Do you buy pallets as well?

Yes. Sorted A grade pallets earn $3 each ex GST and B grade $2, any type, subject to inspection. Collections of 60 or more reusable pallets in Greater Sydney are free. A pile with broken timber through it is quoted as a clearance. Photograph the pile side on, one photo per stack, and the scan tells you which it is before anyone drives out.

Where do you deliver?

Sydney (Prestons), Newcastle (Bennetts Green), Melbourne (South Dandenong), Brisbane (Crestmead), Townsville, Adelaide (Direk), Perth (Malaga) and Darwin, with regional and interstate orders quoted with freight shown as its own line. Every order is quoted and managed by 360 end to end.
