Sell your pallets
Sell your surplus pallets. A written offer the same business day, collection booked around your site.
Sorted A grade pallets earn $3 each and B grade $2. Euro, export, plastic and heavy duty stock is quoted per lot. Lots that do not qualify are cleared at a quoted price, so nothing sits in the yard.
Or call Jayden on 0494 820 639, 7am to 5pm weekdays.
Quick answer
Who buys used pallets, and what do they pay?
We buy used pallets across NSW. Sound standard 1165 pallets earn the most, Euro and odd sizes move slower, repairable cores are credited and broken timber is a clearance. Four steps and no site visit: answer the type, condition, count and postcode, see the band on the screen, send three photos for a firm written offer, then a pickup window is booked around your site. Sixty or more reusable pallets in Greater Sydney is a free pickup.
The rule
Who buys used pallets, what do they pay, and when is collection free?
We pay $3 a pallet ex GST for A grade and $2 for B grade, any type, when the pile is sorted with nothing broken through it, subject to inspection. Collections of 60 or more reusable pallets in Greater Sydney are free. A pile with broken timber through it is quoted as a clearance, so you know the cost before anything is booked.
Grade and count are confirmed at pickup against the photos you sent. The price per pallet in the offer stands as long as the lot matches them.
- Standard 1165, hardwood or softwood, 1 tonne and 2 tonne
- Euro 1200 x 800, export 1100 x 1100 and 1200 x 1000, half and display pallets
- Plastic pallets, nestable, rackable and hygienic
- Heavy duty 2 tonne stock, new or used
- Repairable cores, credited against a clearance
How it works
How do I sell my pallets? Four steps, no site visit.
Photos do the grading. A wasted site visit costs you a morning and us a vehicle, so we quote from what you send and confirm on the day.
- 01Send photos and a countTop, bottom and one side of a typical pallet, plus the rough count, the suburb and when it needs to go. Thirty seconds on a phone.
- 02Offer in writingPrice per pallet, the grade we expect, what is a sale and what is a clearance, and the collection date. Ask before 2pm on a business day and the price comes back the same day. After 2pm it goes out first thing the next business day.
- 03Collection bookedA pickup window that suits the site. Tell us the largest vehicle that fits, forklift or hand load, and the gate hours.
- 04Counted and settledThe lot is graded and counted at pickup against the photos. Payment terms are set out in the offer.
What qualifies
Which pallet grades do we buy?
The same grade definitions we quote on when you buy from us. Ask for the grade in writing on anything we sell or buy.
- New New Unused timber or plastic, straight from manufacture. Clean stock for export, food, pharma and customer facing use. Read
- Grade A Premium used Square and rigid, every board present, no protruding nails, dry with no mould, no contamination. Suits racking and customer facing loads. Read
- Grade B Standard used Sound and dry, up to two repaired boards, none missing, minor surface marks on the bearers. The best value for general warehousing and distribution. Read
- Grade C Economy, one way Load bearing, may have one missing top board and several repairs, damp accepted, stains accepted, no chemical contamination. For loads that are not coming back. Called restricted use on the delivery docket. Read
- Grade R Repairable core Not fit for use as it stands. Bought as repair input only, never supplied as a working pallet. Read
Regular surplus
Turn the empties into a standing arrangement.
Sites that generate pallets every week get a standing rate, a regular pickup day and one number to call. Importers, distribution centres, manufacturers and retailers are the usual cases.
Sell pallets, by city
What we pay is the same everywhere. What changes is the pickup, because that depends on how far the site sits from the yard. Each city page states its own rule: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Central Coast.
Questions sellers ask
What do you pay for pallets?
Sorted A grade pallets earn $3 each and B grade $2, subject to inspection. Euro, export, plastic and heavy duty pallets are quoted per lot once we have seen photos, because their value depends on grade and demand at the time.
Do you buy CHEP or Loscam pallets?
No. Pooled pallets belong to the pool and we do not buy or sell them. If you have pooled pallets building up, tell the pool to collect them, and we can take everything else.
Do you buy broken or mixed pallets?
Broken timber, mixed sizes and unknown lots are a clearance rather than a sale. We quote the collection cost up front and any repairable cores are credited against it.
Is there a minimum?
The published price band applies from 100 pallets. Smaller lots are still collected and are quoted on their own, so send the photos and the count either way.
Do you collect outside Sydney?
Yes. We buy and collect Australia wide. Collections of 60 or more reusable pallets in Greater Sydney are free; elsewhere the collection is priced in the written offer.
How fast do I get an offer?
Ask before 2pm on a business day and the price comes back the same day. After 2pm it goes out first thing the next business day. Photograph the pile side on, one photo per stack, and the price comes back in about a minute. No count needed, the scan does that.
