Export pallets
Export pallets, heat treated and ISPM 15 marked. Priced the same business day.
Heat-treated, ISPM 15 stamped for international shipping. Timber leaving the country has to be treated and marked or the port sends it back. Sizes, treatment and the grade we quote on are in the spec below.

Quick answer
What size is an export pallet?
Export pallets are 1100 x 1100 mm or 1200 x 1000 mm, heat treated and stamped with the IPPC mark so the timber clears quarantine at the other end; most export destinations refuse untreated timber. New and used are both available, graded with the grade written on the quote, and a quote asked for before 2pm is answered the same business day.

Buying notes
What should I check before ordering export pallets?
- Specify the destination country: some ports inspect for bark and the ISPM 15 mark more strictly than others
- 1100 x 1100 suits sea containers for Asia; 1200 x 1000 is the ISO size for Europe, and a US warehouse wants 1219 x 1016, the 48 by 40 inch footprint
- Order heat treated stock as treated; treating pallets after delivery costs more than buying them treated
Price it
Tell us the destination country and the container, and we will set the size out.
Ask before 2pm on a business day and the price comes back the same day. After 2pm it goes out first thing the next business day.
Questions about export pallets
What is ISPM 15?
The international standard for treating timber packaging so it does not carry pests across borders. A compliant pallet is heat treated and carries the ISPM 15 mark with the treatment facility number. Most countries refuse untreated timber pallets.
Which export pallet size should I use?
1100 x 1100 mm is the common choice for Asia and fits two across in a container. 1200 x 1000 mm is the ISO size for Europe. If it is going into a US warehouse, ask for 1219 x 1016 mm, the 48 by 40 inch footprint, and we quote it as a custom size. Tell us the destination and the container and we will set it out.
Do you supply used export pallets?
Yes. Used export pallets go out either re-treated and re-marked, or with the original mark intact and no board replaced. If a lot has been repaired we re-treat it before it ships. The quote says which it is, because a repaired pallet on an old stamp is what gets a container rejected at the far end.
Do export pallets need the ISPM 15 stamp on every pallet?
Yes. Each pallet carries the mark with the treatment code and the registration number of the treating facility, and the receiving port checks the mark, not the paperwork alone. Plastic pallets do not need it because they are not timber.
Can we use recycled pallets for export?
Only where they are heat treated and stamped, and most used stock is not. New heat treated pallets are the usual answer for export because the mark is on them from the start; the quote states which it is.
