Buying notes
What should I check before ordering heavy duty pallets?
- State the dynamic load (moving on a forklift) and the static load (sitting on the floor); the two ratings differ
- Hardwood bearers and a full top deck are what make a 2 tonne pallet; ask for the deck layout in the quote
- For loads over 2 tonne or unusual footprints, go to a custom pallet with an engineered spec

Tell us the heaviest loaded pallet you will rack and we will tell you if 2 tonne covers it.
Ask before 2pm on a business day and the price comes back the same day. After 2pm it goes out first thing the next business day.
Questions about heavy duty pallets
What makes a pallet heavy duty?
Hardwood construction, thicker bearers and a fuller top deck, rated at 2,000 kg dynamic and above. The rating comes from the datasheet of the pallet supplied, not from the word heavy duty.
Can I rack a heavy duty pallet?
Yes. Rackable is the point of the 2 tonne standard pallet. Confirm your beam rating matches the loaded pallet weight.
New or recycled heavy duty?
Recycled 2 tonne standard pallets are the value choice for racking. New hardwood pallets suit long life closed loops and anything carrying steel, glass or machinery.
How do I know which rating I need?
Take the heaviest pallet you actually run, including the exceptions, and the way it sits: on a forklift moving, on the floor, or in a beam. Those are the dynamic, static and racking loads, and the quote states all three for the pallet offered.
Can you take our old heavy duty pallets away when you deliver?
Yes, when it is the same truck. Sixty or more reusable standard pallets anywhere in Greater Sydney is a free pickup and you are paid for the stock; under sixty the stack rides back on a delivery we are already making to your site, or is quoted as a clearance first. Outside Greater Sydney the pickup is priced in the written offer.
