Pallet collection

Pallet collection and clearance, Australia wide. Reusable stock is bought, the rest is cleared at a quoted price.

One enquiry covers all of it. We tell you in writing what is a sale, what is a free collection (60 or more reusable pallets in Greater Sydney) and what is a clearance, then book a pickup window around the site.

Or call Jayden on 0494 820 639, 7am to 5pm weekdays.

Quick answer

When is a pallet pickup free?

Sixty or more reusable pallets anywhere in Greater Sydney is a free pickup. A pile with broken timber through it is quoted as a clearance before anything is booked, repairable pallets are credited as cores, and reusable stock is bought. One enquiry with a photo and a count gets a written split of what is a sale, what is a free collection and what is a clearance, then a pickup window booked around the site.

What gets collected

What is the difference between pallet collection, pickup, removal and disposal?

Reusable pallets, repairable cores, broken timber, odd sizes and plastic all go on the same pickup. We grade on the day against the photos you sent, so the split between sale, free collection and clearance is agreed before the vehicle leaves. Getting rid of old pallets altogether, and why a skip is the dearest way: pallet disposal.

  • Reusable standard 1165, Euro, export and half pallets, bought where they qualify
  • Damaged but repairable pallets, credited as cores
  • Broken timber and unknown mixed lots, cleared at a quoted price
  • Plastic pallets, crates and bins
  • One off clean outs after a container unpack, a stocktake or a site move

How it works

What does a pallet clearance cost when the pickup is not free?

You should never find out what a clearance costs after the pallets have gone. The cost, or the payment, is in writing before the booking.

  1. 01Send photos, a count and the suburbTop, bottom and side of a typical pallet, a rough count, the largest vehicle that fits and the gate hours.
  2. 02Written answer the same business dayWhat we buy, what we collect free, what we clear and at what price. Ask before 2pm on a business day and the price comes back the same day. After 2pm it goes out first thing the next business day.
  3. 03Pickup window bookedA day and a window that suits the site. Forklift on site or hand load, both are fine, just tell us which.
  4. 04Graded on the dayCounted and graded at pickup against the photos. Any difference is explained on the spot, not discovered later.

The rule

When collection is free, and when it is not.

We pay $3 a pallet ex GST for A grade and $2 for B grade, any type, when the pile is sorted with nothing broken through it, subject to inspection. Collections of 60 or more reusable pallets in Greater Sydney are free. A pile with broken timber through it is quoted as a clearance, so you know the cost before anything is booked.

I need pallets collected or cleared I have pallets to sell

Pallet collection, by city

What we pay is the same everywhere. What changes is the pickup, because that depends on how far the site sits from the yard. Each city page states its own rule: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Central Coast.

Questions sites ask

Is pallet collection free?

Collections of 60 or more reusable pallets in Greater Sydney are free, because the pallets pay for the pickup. A pile with broken timber through it is quoted as a clearance, and the price is in writing before anything is booked.

Will you take broken pallets?

Yes. Broken timber and unknown mixed lots are cleared at a quoted price. Repairable cores in the lot are credited against it.

Do you collect CHEP or Loscam pallets?

No. Pooled pallets go back to the pool, and the pool collects its own. We take everything that is not pooled.

How much notice do you need?

Tell us when it needs to be gone in the enquiry. Ask before 2pm on a business day and the price comes back the same day. After 2pm it goes out first thing the next business day. The collection date is confirmed in the same message.

Can it be a regular pickup?

Yes. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly pickups run to a set day with one number to call. Sites that generate reusable pallets every week usually end up being paid for them.

Where do you collect?

Australia wide. Our supply and collection points are Sydney (Prestons), Newcastle (Bennetts Green), Melbourne (South Dandenong), Brisbane (Crestmead), Townsville, Adelaide (Direk), Perth (Malaga) and Darwin, with pickups arranged around them.
