Selling or clearing in Adelaide

Selling used pallets in Adelaide? We buy them, or collect them.

We pay $3 a pallet ex GST for A grade and $2 for B grade, any type, when the pile is sorted with nothing broken through it, subject to inspection. A pile with broken timber through it is quoted as a clearance, and the collection is priced with it.

Both have their own page for this market: sell pallets Adelaide covers what we pay and when the pickup is free, and pallet collection Adelaide covers clearing a mixed or damaged lot.

Which suburbs around Adelaide do we deliver pallets to?

These are the industrial areas most of the Adelaide deliveries go to, so a drop into any of them is routine rather than a special run. The list is where the volume is, not a limit: anywhere in Adelaide and the Barossa is delivered and the freight is already inside the quoted price, costed from Direk.

  • Direk
  • Wingfield
  • Regency Park
  • Gepps Cross
  • Dry Creek
  • Lonsdale
  • Edinburgh North
  • Pooraka
  • Kilburn
  • Mile End

Not on the list? Send the delivery suburb with the type and the count. The price comes back the same business day either way, with the delivery date on it.

Where Adelaide pallets come from

What is the pallet market like in Adelaide?

Adelaide is a smaller market with two concentrated sources: wine and food processing. Wine freight moves on standard pallets in volume through vintage and then stops, and food manufacturing in the northern suburbs runs steadily all year. Lots here are often smaller but cleaner than the national average.

360 runs its own freight rather than handing the leg to a carrier, so a lot collected here can move on a vehicle that is already running the corridor. That is the difference between a collection that has to pay for a dedicated truck and one that rides on a leg already paid for, and it is the reason a quoted clearance here is usually cheaper than a local operator can do it.

Questions Adelaide buyers ask

How fast can I get pallets in Adelaide?

Ask before 2pm on a business day and the price comes back the same day. After 2pm it goes out first thing the next business day. The quote states the delivery date, and the grade and count are in writing before anything is dispatched.

What pallets do you supply in Adelaide?

Australian standard 1165 in 1 tonne and 2 tonne, Euro 1200 x 800, export pallets with ISPM 15 heat treatment, plastic, heavy duty, half and display pallets, and custom sizes to your drawing. New or recycled, pooled hire pallets excluded.

Is there a minimum order?

The published prices are for 50 pallets or more, delivered. Under 50, every order is quoted on its own and small lots carry a delivery charge that we show up front. Volume and recurring orders get better per pallet pricing.

Can you supply export pallets for wine and produce?

Yes. Heat treated export stock carrying the ISPM 15 mark is quoted for wine, produce and manufactured goods leaving through Port Adelaide, with the treatment named on the quote and the delivery docket.

Do you deliver to the Barossa and the south?

Yes. The Barossa, Gawler, Lonsdale and the southern industrial areas are inside the Adelaide delivery area. The quote states the delivery date and the charge, shown up front on small lots.

Do you buy pallets in Adelaide?

Yes. Photograph the pile side on, one photo per stack, and the price comes back in about a minute. No count needed, the scan does that. Anything it cannot be sure of goes to a person and comes back the same business day.
