A job this truck is built for

Three pallets or a multi-drop of cartons across the metro area in one run: a 3PL despatch to four stores, the van loaded in reverse drop order. With the deck full, the payload works out at about 470 kg a pallet on average; heavier pallets than that and the weight runs out before the floor does.

How the pallets sit on the deck

123Deck 4 x 1.8 m
3 positions, one across and 3 along, standard 1165 by 1165 pallets on the floor, not double stacked. Schematic from the configuration on file; the deck is drawn to its internal length and width.

Is this the right size?

Pick the vehicle by the pallet count and the weight, in that order. A load that fits on the floor can still be over the payload, and a light load can still run out of positions. If you are near the line, quote both sizes and take the cheaper one. Either side of this vehicle:

Not sure? Describe the freight and every vehicle that fits comes back priced side by side.

Questions about the Large Van

How many pallets fit on a large van?

3 pallet positions. That is standard 1165 by 1165 Australian pallets on the floor, not double stacked. Double stacking is quoted separately because it depends on the height and the strength of your freight.

What can a large van carry?

Up to 1.4 t of freight. Load volume is 13 cubic metres.

What licence does a large van need?

A C class licence as a minimum. The driver and the vehicle are both confirmed on the job sheet before the run.

Can I get a price without calling?

Yes. Put the pickup, the delivery and the freight into the quote tool and every vehicle that fits comes back priced, this one included. No form, no wait.

How are the pallets arranged on a large van?

3 positions, one across and 3 along, standard 1165 by 1165 pallets on the floor, not double stacked. The diagram on this page numbers the positions from the headboard, so position one goes on first and comes off last. On a multi-drop run the last delivery is loaded first and the first delivery sits at the door.
