Results we can show, and how each one was measured.
A result goes on this page only when it was measured, not forecast, and the customer approved its use (named or anonymised). The number matters less than the method, because the method is what transfers to your site.

Quick answer
What results can 360 show?
One so far that meets the test: a distributor buying about 7,000 pallets a month took about $120,000 a year out of its pallet bill by matching the pallet specification to the product and applying the free pickup rule to its reusable stock, measured over twelve months of invoices against the year before. A result goes on the page only when it was measured against a baseline, approved by the customer and written up as a method another site could follow.
Proof 01
How did a distributor take $120,000 a year out of its pallet bill?
A distributor buying about 7,000 pallets a month, about $1.3m a year, was paying for a grade it did not need and for pickups that should have been free. Two changes, neither of them clever: the specification was matched to the product (loads that never see racking went onto grade B and one-way pallets instead of grade A), and the pickup rule was applied to its reusable stock (sixty or more reusable pallets in Greater Sydney is a free pickup, and the sound ones are bought). The pallet bill fell by about $120,000 a year.
| Measure | What was done |
|---|---|
| Baseline | Twelve months of pallet invoices and the pickup charges, by site, read into one sheet |
| Specification | Each product line mapped to the pallet it needs: racked, floor stacked, export, one way |
| Recovery | Reusable pallets counted by site and week; the free pickup applied where the count qualified |
| Result | The next twelve months of invoices against the baseline, the same sites, the same volume |
| Permission | The founder's own work, authorised for marketing, anonymised; the customer is not named |
The same two questions apply to any site buying pallets: is every load on the cheapest pallet that does the job, and are the empties being paid for or thrown away? The pallet spend calculator runs the arithmetic on your volume.
What counts
What has to be true before a result goes on this page?
- Measured against a baseline over the same period, the same sites and the same volume, from invoices or counts, not from a forecast.
- Approved for use by the customer, named or anonymised, with the approval kept on file (the permission log).
- The method written down in enough detail that another site could do the same thing without us.
- A number written as a range when the measurement is young; a figure only once a full period has run.
Results that do not meet the four are not on this page, and estimated benefits in a review are written as opportunities to test, never as savings. The facts page carries the register every claim is checked against.
Your own number
The method is on the page; the arithmetic is on the calculator.
Put your monthly pallet volume and grade mix into the spend calculator and see what the two changes above would do to your bill, or start with the ten minute health check to find the area to fix first.
Questions about the results
Why is the customer not named?
Because they asked not to be. The figure and the method are theirs to approve; the name was not part of the approval. A named case study follows the template in our proof register when a customer agrees to it.
Is $120,000 typical?
No. It is one distributor at about 7,000 pallets a month; a site buying 300 pallets a month will find the same two problems at a smaller scale. The calculator gives the number for your volume.
Can you show me a result for transport or consultancy?
Not yet on this page. Transport jobs produce a proof of delivery and a cost per drop, and a review produces a before and after; each goes here once a full period has run and the customer has said yes.
Who measured it?
360's founder, from the invoices and the counts, in the operations role he held before 360 existed; it is the work the business was built on, and it is anonymised for that reason.
